About Lisa Ford

 

Immediately after receiving her BS in Art Education fron Pennsylvania State University, Lisa Ford began her art teaching career in the mainline suburbs of Philadelphia, PA while also teachng drawing and painting in her home studio. She received an MA in Art Education at Universityof the Arts with a thesis on interdisciplinary arts, a grant recipient from Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and earned an MA in Theatre at Villanova University.  Lisa studied painting extensively at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and performed in theatre, ballet, flamenco, and argentine tango at various Philadelphia schools, theaters and studios.  Lisa's interdisciplinary approach is evident in her art and life.  She exhibits her works in the Philadelphia area, Southern California, Paris, France and London, England.
